Sending a registered mail is very simple. You write your email as you normally would, but instead of email, letter or text message, you choose ”Registered mail.” Select the invoices it relates to and then click ”save”.

The recipient is notified that there is a registered email for them. The recipient must first accept the email and optionally authenticate themselves to release the email. Of all the steps, the legally important data are recorded on a status bill that is also available on the debtors card in the MaxCredible platform. The steps are listed below:

Besides sending registered emails manually, it is also possible to include the registered email in the payment journey by default. This way, you can send out registered emails fully automatically via the MaxCredible application. How do you do that?

It is very simple, just follow the steps below:

Step 1: Go to the payment journey in the MaxCredible application

Step 2: Select the payment journey where you want to add the registered email

Step 3: Drag the email icon to the day you want to send the registered email. (Note that the number of days is from the due date of the invoice).

What must a registered mail legally comply with?

Regarding legal value: As a QTSP provider, the service Aangetekend Mailen offers a qERDS solution that falls under the Trust Service Providers in the Netherlands and must comply with the eIDAs requirements.

Under the eIDAS regulation, Aangetekend Mailen is a digital equivalent of registered mail. To meet the requirements of eIDAS, the mail must meet the following aspects:
